Vintage 18K yellow gold Ultramarine Blue Lapis Lazuli ring was an estate acquisition. Highly detailed with a Florentine finish and fine cannetille work, the ring has a strong architectural presence. There is a perfect transition from the shoulder to the upper shank with a ridged band bridging the trapezoid to the hand etched shank. The measurement of the crown is 17mm with the center Lapis cabochon oval measuring approximately 12 by 9mm. The ring raises off the finger by 9 mm and, using a Dendrite conversion chart, we estimate this lapis to weigh 3.21 carats. The ring has been tested as 18k and is stamped '18K' within a square cartouche. Overall, this ring is in excellent vintage condition and weighs a hefty 7.06 grams. A beautiful addition to any jewelry collection.
