Lovely and sentimental. Antique 14k gold and hair work mourning ring. This warm yellow gold mourning ring bears a plaque with the initials "M.L." engraved in fine script. The inside of the band is dated for 28 January 1886. The hair work is finely woven and the ring is sturdy overall in fine antique condition with markings throughout. Well loved, there is wear to the engraving, surface scratches, and patina commensurate with age, consult photographs.
The ring is 7.17mm wide with a thickness of 1.6mm. It weighs 5.27 grams.
