Beautiful Burmese ruby ring. This platinum and 14k gold ring features a ruby that has been GIA certified as being of Burmese/Myanmar origin.
The cushion cut ruby weighs approximately 1.19 carats and measures approximately 5.95 x 5.9x 3/6 mm. It is a very desirable strong purplish red in hue and medium dark in tone, transparent to semi-transparent. This is a natural ruby and has inclusions (consult pictures). Heated (moderate residues.) The ruby has been GIA certified.
The ring's striking setting is made predominantly of 14k white gold while the head of the setting tests as platinum. (Gemoro tested.)
Sitting astride the ruby is a total of .8 carats of diamonds. There are 2 very bright, white princess cut diamonds of approximately 3.50 mm x 3.50 mm, and 0.5 ctw (total) (G-H, VS1-VS2) and 6 gleaming, very bright, white baguettes measuring 4.00 mm x 1.25 mm, 0.30 ctw (total), (G-H, VVS2-VS1).
The total weight of the ring is 4.30 grams.
